Abstract
Abstract
Right is a significant entity that has received considerable attention in
various divine religions, particularly in the Holy Quran and the traditions of
the Holy Prophet (S.A,W.W) and Ahlul Bait (A.S). It is an esteemed attribute
that bestows meaning and purpose upon an individual's life. The conflict
between right and wrong has existed since the dawn of history, representing
a clash between divine figures and those under the influence of Satan.
At present, both parties engaged in this struggle claim righteousness
for themselves while labeling their opponents as wrong. However, prior
to determining who is truly right and what constitutes righteousness, it
becomes imperative to establish and investigate the criteria associated
with right.
In this article, the aim is to elucidate the criteria for right as envisioned
by Imam Ali (A.S). Due to some constraints, only Nahjul Balagha is subject to
scholarly scrutiny and six distinct criteria have been meticulously explored
as the definitive means to discern veracity from fallacy.
